Alphonsus Church is located in Springdale, 20 miles North East of
Downtown Pittsburgh.
The town (borough) of about 6,000 residents is situated on the North
Shore of the Alleghney River. Springdale is located on Pennsylvania
State Route 28 (Called Pittsburgh Street in Springdale) and also
called Freeport Road. This is the principal Highway through the
borough.
The church (and rectory and school bldg) are located on Pittsburgh
St, at an intersection with a traffic light. A large sign identifies
the church which is on the river side of the highway.

of the PA Turnpike 48 and State Route 28
